A detention officer or deputy sheriff candidate must take and pass the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Agility/Physical Test which includes doing push-ups, sit-ups and a mile run in order to be hired. View a video taken during a previous test. Fill out the Agility/Physical Test Registration form to schedule a time to take the test.
The test is performed at the Fulton County Training Center (Wolf Creek Amphitheater) at 3025 Merk Road College Park, GA 30349.
Immediately following will be an optional tour of the Fulton County Jail at 901 Rice Street, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Prohibited items at the jail:No form fitting clothing (leggings included); see-through, revealing, torn, or clothing with holes. No open-toed or shoes with heels, hats, headscarves, or plain white t-shirts. No electronic devices including cell phones.
